John Felipe Salazar a WWII veteran, born on 2/1/1924, died on Monday, May 28th. He was predeceased by his sons: Thomas J. & Victor M. Salazar. Mr. Salazar is survived by Helen Apodaca Salazar, sons; Mike and Debbie, Rob, John and Shawn, Dan and Christie, Jim and Carol Salazar and daughter Barbie and Joe Padilla. Mr. Salazar’s siblings are Frieda Apodaca, Virginia Archuleta, and Joe Salazar. He has 17 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

John’s Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary On Sunday at 7:00 in the Reflection of Life® Chapel (Cutler & Washington NE.) Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church and Graveside service with military honors will be at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandson: Gavin, Rob, James, Chris, Alex, and Francisco.
